About Me
I’m Sam, a Cambridge historian who has spent more than ten years teaching students how to think more clearly, write more confidently and become more enthusiastic about their subject.
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Double Starred First, achieving the highest mark in my year, and went on to complete a PhD in American History. I later became a Fellow of Peterhouse, where I taught undergraduates and postgraduates and helped with admissions.
My first book, a history of policing in America, is forthcoming with Columbia University Press.
